That Joseph sold due to his brothers' envy and led into Egypt, prefigured Christ who would be sold; this other Joseph, fleeing the envy of Herod, brought Christ to Egypt. That Joseph, out of faithfulness to his master did not lie with the woman; this Joseph, recognizing his wife to be a virgin, the mother of his Lord, and staying continent himself, guarded her faithfully. It was given to the first Joseph to understand the secrets of dreams; the second has been granted a knowledge of and share in the heavenly sacraments. The first Joseph stored grain, not for himself but for all the people; the second receives the charge of tending to the living bread that comes down from heaven, both for himself and for the whole world."
