Inna Illahi

A couple that I barely knew just lost their baby. It's in Muslim culture to say, "Inna illahi wa inna illayhi raji'un" meaning: verily all belongs to Allah and all will be coming back to Him. It's a cry that reminds us Christian of Job statement, "The Lord gives, the Lord takes away. Blessed be the name of the Lord." So for this couple, whom I barely know, who are faithful Muslim, I mourn with you as a friend. May her little soul rest in peace.
